As a father shows compassion to his children,
so the LORD shows compassion to those who fear him.
For he knows our frame;
he remembers that we are dust.

In the Anglican prayer book funeral service it says 'we are but dust'. A friend of mine used to joke about what 'butt dust' could possibly be. Ha ha.
Later, I had to take a funeral, and to read the aforementioned phrase with straight face...
