The Girl's First Word...

The Girl said her first word this morning at 6:30am. Clear as crystal, and right out of the blue. She stood up at her cot, desparate to get out, and said:

"Mummy."

Love, Justin.

Justin, that is wonderful news, it is very exciting to see your kids do things for the first time.

do you suppose that god took as much notice as you did? (one hopes that this might be the case, because one can then extrapolate to the idea that perhaps he takes that much of notice of Benjamin or Justin when Benjamin or Justin does something new and relatively amazing)

Very tidy.

Ben can say 'nanna' as in bananna but it also sounds a bit like Nanna (my mum's designation) So on a video the Rockwells took of him to take back to St Ives, we got him to say the fruit as if he was speaking to my mum. Sneaky, yes. but it will make her week!

Nice, Scott.

The Boy says: "Me-na-naa" for banana. No idea why. And Parp-ish for breakfast [or porridge?]

Benjamin -- I hope so. I think so. I think thats something of what Jesus means when he says: "Not a sparrow falls to the ground... So you..."

My sister's first word was "bagel," and this was in Ohio! But my dad was from New York...

such a precious photo.

In that beautiful place He has
gone to prepare
For all who are washed and forgiven;
And many dear children shall be with Him there,
For “of such is the kingdom of heaven.”
