It is well worth a Christian's while not only to memorize it word for word, but also to occupy himself with it daily, as though it were the daily bread of the soul. It is impossible to read or to meditate on this letter too much or too well. The more one deals with it, the more precious it becomes and the better it tastes.

Hey man how did you go preaching through romans? Any tips on who to read or any pitfalls? We are working out our preaching schedule for next year.
hard thing is whether to work through it really slowly, so you get the riches at each point. You see the trees. Or whether to get through it quickly, to not be too laboured, but see the forest.
We choose the latter. Only cos we aren't at MLJ stage yet! :)
