Joy is the New Black.
Of course, You can make anything the ‘New Black’ if you can find a few people to nod while you say it.

Really enjoyed your article, Justin. In fact, you have convicted me. For years I have been mouthing the words or just keeping my mouth shut during the songs, because, well, let's just say I couldn't hold a tune if it were in a bucket with a handle. And after a few too many surreptitious glances from people obviously wondering who could possibly be that bad, I eventually sang softer and softer until there was no sound at all.
But you have reminded me that it is not about being a good singer, it's about sharing the joy of knowing Christ crucified. So from now on, I'll just belt it out.
But you may not want to sit in front of me...
Thanks, mate.
Forgot to mention that I am the only one I know, or ever even heard of, that in year 2 failed the audition for the primary school choir.
Been downhill from there I think...
